Why all the way in Ririe, ID?

Dane and Gryffin choose Snake River Meadows because they felt that the traditional “show up for one night” style of wedding was not the type of celebration they wanted. What they really wanted was for a weekend of festivities to take place, with everyone at the same place.

Gryffin found Snake River Meadows just by surfing google, and within a week they planned a trip out to Ririe to check the venue out. Dane and Gryffin both fell in love with the venue, backdrops, and outdoor recreation opportunities. There are multiple fire pits, a large grassy area, and a river running through the back! Plus plenty of places for RVs, camper trailers, and tents :).

What is the plan for food?

Please see the wedding day schedule for provided meals! For specific questions, please reach out to Dane and Gryffin at daneandgryffin@gmail.com

What is the weather like?

Late June in Eastern Idaho is beautiful! With highs in the 70s and lows in the 40s. While rain is rare, it is Idaho so the weather can be unpredictable! Plan for all weather types.

How am I going to get there?

From Boise, Idaho: From Boise, Snake River Meadows is about 4.5 hours. You can take either I-84 or US-20 and they are about the same.

From Salt Lake City, Utah: From Salt Lake, it is about 3.5-hours up I-15.

If you are joining us from outside of Idaho, the Idaho Falls Regional Airport is a good option to fly into and is 30 minutes away from Snake River Meadows!.

We are planning on staying an extra day or two, what should we do?

One of the reasons Dane and Gryffin chose Ririe is because of the outdoor opportunities!

  • Fishing on the South Fork of the Snake River. This section of the snake is world renound for its Rainbows and Browns.

**Note from Dane: Snake River Meadows has a pond stocked with BIG Rainbows, so make sure to bring a fly rod! (the pond is fly fish only)

  • There are some great mountain biking and hiking trails nearby, with the owners of Snake River Meadows recommending the Big Hole Mountains.

  • Yellowstone is only a 1.75 hours away!

  • Across the river is Heise Hot Springs (linked here), and they have a swimming pool, zipline, golf course, and pizza parlor!

When should I arrive?

We’ll be kicking things off with a casual Friends & Family Dinner on Friday evening, June 26, 2026, and we’d love to have you join. It’s a chance to gather around, swap stories, and settle into the weekend with good food and even better company. Dinner and drinks will be served throughout the evening, beginning at 5:30 pm and ending with a campfire with s’mores and heartwarming stories.

No pressure to join—please come if you’re in town and feel like sharing a meal under the Idaho sky. Whether you roll in early or arrive just in time for the vows, we’re thrilled to have you on this adventure with us.

Will the wedding be held outside and what should I wear?

Yes! The dress code is garden formal, which is a fancy way of saying polos and sundresses. Our ceremony will be held outside, rain or shine so come prepared.

**Note from Gryffin: The Bridesmaids will each be wearing a different pastel satin colored dress**
